Audio Books

We found many book clubs with a focus only on audio books.

  • Many seniors prefer to hear not read book materials.
  • Members who are visually impaired subscribe to audio books.
  • People who are in their vehicles more than their homes have found audio books are now keeping up with hardcovers and paperbacks.
  • People who travel often rely on audio books to keep them sane!
  • Book lovers who just plain enjoy hearing more than reading.

Sue Grafton’s new book is now available through Audible.com! I downloaded one of the best books I’ve EVER read/heard from Audible.com:  Curious by Todd Kashdan, a professor at George Mason University. The tagline is, “Discover the Missing Ingredient to a Fulfilling Life.”  It’s worth reading…um, hearing.

Right now, Audible.com is featuring “The Highest Rated Audiobooks of 2009.” Check them out to get ideas.
